Please note, the following can not be treated

 

  • Pregnancy 
  • Cancer – 5 years remission
  • Diabetes – Type 1 
  • Active Acne 
  • Epilepsy 
  • Prescribed Acne Medication i.e. Roaccutane (6 months rest) 
  • Topical or Medicated Steroids (3-6 months rest)
  • Accutane therapy within 6 months. 
  • Auto-Immune Diseases (HIV, MS, Hepatitis) 
  • Asthma – steroid based 
  • Skin conditions: rosacea, psoriasis, eczema, active cold sores, warts, open wounds, sunburn, dermatitis, excessively sensitive skin
  • Infection of the hair follicles (Acne Folliculitus)

 

Pre Treatment Advice 

 

  • No AHA’s or glycolics 7 days prior 
  • No botox 14 days prior 
  • No dermal fillers 28 days prior 
  • No facial waxing for 3 days prior 
  • No Retin-A or other exfoliating creams 3 days prior 
  • No laser/IPL 14 days prior 
  • Men should shave the night before

 

Post treatment advice   

 

  • Avoid all heat treatments for 48hrs 
  • Avoid UV exposure for 48 hrs 
  • No sun beds throughout the course 
  • Avoid exercise and swimming for 24 hrs 
  • Avoid fake tan 2-3 days post treatment 
  • Avoid touching and itching the area for 24 hours 
  • No AHA’s or glycolic treatments to be used 7 days post treatment 
  • Avoid make up for a 12hrs - mineral make up is then advised 
  • No facial waxing/hair removal for 3 days post treatment 
  • No laser/IPL 14 days after
