Deep Tissue Massage is a sequence of stroking moves lighter to deep pressure that is adapted to the individual needs, can be lighter pressure or more intense to work deeper in the muscle tissue to relieve Myofascial Trigger Points /muscle knots tension and muscular pain. These knots can inhibit our circulation and cause pain and inflammation.

Deep tissue massage usually focuses on a specific problem such as upper back, lower back, legs, tennis elbow, recovery from injury etc. Using firm pressure and slow strokes to reach the deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue. To achieve suitable pressure knuckles, hands, elbows, and forearms are used during the treatment. During the massage some discomfort may be felt or even some pain on areas where there is muscle tightness.
